Access For All Abilities Projects
1. Hopkins River Platform
The platform is constructed around the Lyndoch Boat Shed on the Hopkins River in Warrnambool. The site had been identified in a Sport and Recreation Victoria Access Feasibility Study as the preferred site for the development of an accessible fishing platform.
2. Active Oceans
Active Oceans seeks to promote and make accessible coastal/water based sport and recreation opportunities for people with a disability in the South West.

3. Port Fairy Yacht Club
The South West Sports Assembly, as a member of the Active Oceans Project Committee, has supported the Port Fairy Yacht Club to:
Develop an inclusive sailing program
Obtain essential modified equipment
Secure funding for an accessible floating jetty
4. SDS Netball
The South West Sports Assembly and Netball Victoria have started up a netball program within the South West Special Development Schools - SDS (Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton & Terang). The program teaches the kids the skills of a netball and then culminates in a netball carnival between the 4 schools and the end of the program.
5. Accessible Playgrounds
The South West Sports Assembly has been involved with a number of key stakeholders to advocate to local government for policy development that addresses the need for improved access to playgrounds.
